About Our Therapy Studio

We understand that physical setting and environment are important for well-being.

Our therapy studio is set at the end of a lovely garden in Whitstable. Although we are in town, the surroundings are quiet and the sea is a short walk away. We understand that physical setting and environment are important for well-being which is why we have created a space which is warm, comfortable, inviting and friendly. We want you to feel safe in the setting so that you can explore those areas within yourself that are threatening or causing distress. The therapy rooms are also completely private.

room

There are two therapy rooms and a bathroom, all with a fresh and relaxed feel. We have chosen contemporary, comfortable furniture and the plants, artwork and cushions that decorate the space help to create a supportive and healing sanctuary.

office

The therapy studio is accessed by a gate at the side of the house and the gate has a Shortland Psychology sign on it so you will know you are in the right place. You might see two small dogs barking inside the house. Don’t worry, they stay inside the house and do not meet clients. In time, we hope that Ziggy (with the blue eyes) will be available to join those clients who would find him a comfort. Just let us know if this something you would like.
